We waded into the sea up to our shoulders
made shallow talk for show, while waves
hummed white noise like wind shook trees
It was when I felt your foot slide
a stone to mine that I knew we
were secret agents. Geodes turned
between us & alibi spelled themselves
by touch in a braille of goosebumps
All dreams are poems if you tell them right

I may have thrown a tantrum at Circuit Shitty & kind of laughed maniacally at a "Customers 1st" sign & then tossed my USB drive into a random bin & exclaimed loudly I ain't buyin' shit heer! before stomping out, maybe, but the cashiers were acting like apathetic high-fivin' congregatin' no-good punkasses & I have been keeping it v. real lately.
In grooming my list of obligatory
Movies to See Before I Die - V6
~Blues Brothers (comedy)**** the scene with John getting the holy spirit is a sight to behold.

I can't believe I'm watching Rocky 2nite. What a DickFlick. Suggestions are welcome as always, esp. comedy, with which I am hard to please. One day I will be able to say "I have seen every movie that was ever important," & I won't be lying like last time.

Date: 2008-01-21 09:57 pm (UTC)I have kinda strange taste in movie's I think. I am far less discerning than most, not because I don't notice the bad and stupid and corny in movies, but because I associate more with the things I liked about it.
These are some of my favorites (I've done my best to get rid of those you've already seen or are already on your list to my knowledge. sorry if i duplicate):
being john malcovich
better off dead
paris j'taime (which i just saw recently, but totally love)
boogie nights
magnolia
punch drunk love
The whole "Three colors" trilogy, though Bleu is my favorite of the three, i highly recommend all of them and in order.
snatch
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
the red violin
zoolander
thumbsucker
I ♥huckabees
life aquatic
royal tennanbaums
the witches
animal house
all about eve
marie anionette (yes, even with kirsten dunst in it)
And get thee to a Pan's Labyrinth!
and i'd recommend Juno. Don't know if you saw it yet, but it's definitely worth seeing.

Date: 2008-01-21 10:17 pm (UTC)Also, Spirited Away...did you see that? I really liked that one too.
Re: I've got a comment-happy trigger finger
Date: 2008-01-21 10:32 pm (UTC)it was knowing that it was an actual play that made the movie so amazing for me, actually.
& Spirited Away, yes. an all time favorite.
